Protecting workspace data is non-negotiable

Nebula Planner is operated from Wyoming, USA. This policy describes how the product handles the information you store in the platform and the controls available to you. If anything is unclear, please reach out.

1. Information we collect

Nebula Planner stores the data you choose to create inside your workspace: projects, tasks, submissions, and collaboration activity. Authentication records include email addresses, hashed passwords, and metadata required to maintain secure sessions.

If you enable optional integrations (e.g. remote API connectors or scraping), we store connection details you provide such as API keys or connector descriptions. These secrets are encrypted at rest and redacted from logs.

2. How data is used

Workspace content is only used to deliver core features: rendering dashboards, powering search, producing exports, and generating AI-assisted insights for your authenticated users.

Aggregated and anonymized metrics (such as feature usage trends) help us prioritize the roadmap. We never sell user data or share it with advertisers.

3. AI and automation

When you trigger Nebula Copilot features, relevant snippets of your workspace content are sent to the configured language model provider. You control which provider is used in self-hosted deployments.

We log prompts and responses for up to 30 days to audit output quality. You can disable prompt retention at any time by contacting support.

4. Security & retention

Nebula Planner supports self-hosted deployments so you can keep data within your infrastructure perimeter. If you run our managed edition, data is stored in encrypted databases with role-based access controls and continuous monitoring.

We retain workspace data while your account is active. Upon request, we will delete workspace data within 30 days except where retention is required for legal compliance.

5. Your rights

You may request data exports, corrections, or deletion at any time by emailing privacy@nebulaplanner.io. We respond within 30 days.

If you are based in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR including objecting to certain processing activities. Contact us to exercise those rights.
